Regardless of he potential destination we are possibly about to lose one of our best players and goal kicker. Maybe IL needs to add 'goal kicker' on to his wish list.

why not look at Patrick Ah Van, he's off contract so i believe, hes kicked 34 goals so far this year, which ain't too bad

Please please be joking. He may be able to kick goals but he is shíte after that! Charnley is a goal kicking winger. If we were to lose Pat, and Ah Van was our only option then I would rather stick with Charnley and Goulding.

Losing Pat and replacing him with Ah van would be like losing a hot chocolate fudge cake and replacing it with diarrhea.

I'm relaxed about the situation. Pat has earned the right in his six seasons here to do whatever he wants with the Wigan fan's blessing.

If he feels its time to go home or he wants a big pay day in union at the end of his career, good luck to him.

I hope we manage to sign him up, any team would miss the MOS. He's by far one of our best players, and we would be losing a lot if we lost him.

I've been pretty impressed with what I've seen of Ah Van, though admittedly that's only from TV plus our game at their place (when he scored a good try from a bomb, IIRC). He'd be a lot more dangerous in a better side.

He is out of position all the time and slower than Paul Wellens (see interception try at Cardiff vs Leeds, albeit he got the try but only just in the corner, Charnley/Roberts/Richards/King would have had it under the sticks) I wouldnt ever want him at Wigan. He is the kind of import that should never even be considered for Super League.
