| What are peoples thoughts?
I know a lot won't agree but I thought he had a good game today, especially his second stint. Of course the hit by Graham stands out, but I think Lima was trying to set a marker down and flatten him. It was a good hit by Graham that would have floored most players so fair play. If Lima had managed to flatten him it could have made the game much easier for us.
Thought Lima ran the ball in hard from his first carry and made some decent yards, he doesn't make 50 metres a carry and flatten 274738 defenders each time, but neither do Fielden, Prescott and company. He plays a lot more game time than Feka did and IMO is much more consistent, better defensively too. He was never going to be an 40-60 minute Feka and I think people just expected the wrong kind of play from him, rather than the pretty solid yards and defence that he gives.
With regards to his bans, I think he has been hard done to since his first ban and people are exaggerating his actions. The fact that he was even put on report for the nothing challenge at Hull KR proves this IMO.
I've put my helmet on ready for the flak

| Also thought he had a good game, but the small minded people will just see the great hit from Graham and immediately go to that he is a waste of space (like everyone around me today) he gets the job done, tackles well and makes good meters. Annoys me when people compare him to Feka - Feka was a flashy player with the odd good stint every now and then but Lima does all the hard work and always gets it done, two completely different players.

| Jeff had a very good game today. Very busy in his first 10 mins spell, must have taken about 10 drives in in that time. He will keep getting better as our pack gets stronger.

| You shouldn't get any flak mate. He's doing a great job for the team by getting through stacks of work. The people criticising him are the same guys that would wet their pants at feka's 2 drives per game whilst ignoring him leaving the tackling and goal line clearing sets to his teamates.
Lima is really settling in now he's keeping his nose clean!

| He had a good game I thought. He will have to do it everyweek though with Mossop and Prescott breathing down his neck. Both are having fantastic seasons so far, and with Stu and Hock coming back in a few months, gonna be competitive in the pack

| Average. Not as bad as some one here would tell you but hardly a Craig Smith.
I hope his salary is "sensible".

| Very little game time and poor in defence, when talking overseas players compare his impact on a game to someone like Puletua or Hoffman.

| i also though he had a good game. very solid and works hard. we are really missing fielden in the middle and his return will also make lima a better player as fielden takes on so much of the work and puts in a huge amount of tackles. Fielden and Hock will come into the squad at similar times and what a pack that will be, Fielden, Lima, Prescott, Coley, Hock, Hansen, Mossop, Farrell, Lockers, Tuson. That is some serious strength in depth and argubale the strongest pack in super league. I think as the season develops we are going to take some stopping despite our patchy form thus far !!!

| Average. Still showing the form of 2010 for me which is probably the worst of his recent career. When you see the NRL and the level of many of the Props that they have running around cannot help but feel slightly short changed by his signing thus far.

| It will be interesting to see his stats. I think people will find that he's done more work than they think, but I admit that he's not the barging battleship he used to be.

| i think he's getting a pretty hard time and it's not really justified.
he's a hard working prop who gets on with doing the hard work - not a barnstorming impact prop many people seem to think we signed.
he's not one of the top props from the nrl by any means but then i'd be suprised if we were paying him a mega salary - hoffman will be the highest paid of that trio by a long way i think.
i think if when we see him and fielden working alongside each other we will have a pretty solid front row thats going to be hard to wear down.
he's been pretty hard done to on the disciplinary side of things - just looking at yesterdays game i saw tackles from both sides with the third man that could easily have been judged 'attacking the standing leg'.
unfortunately he's getting stick from fans who want to see feka and he's now a marked man when it comes to examining his tackling - he'll get penalised for everything (- and for things he hasn't done) when many other players can do the same and it won't be even mentioned.

| ver very avergage at the moment for me,
does not have the same impact that i was under the impression he had.
some times he can do some good runs but he makes some silly errors that could cost us, and for me he dont seem to be pushign it,
but then again the whole team seems to be lacking the engery and urgency of last season.

but to be fair jon, hes playing with only One other experienced Prop in Coley and Prescott who is still learning his trade. Fielden was criticised for form but alot was down to him single handedly carrying the pack. When Stu comes back and we have our full compliment of props ( with the exception of O Carroll) and the workload Fielden puts in i believe we will see performances of a higher class. At the minute he is doing much of the work and I for one think his workrate and attitude have been very good. And lets not forget hes settling into a new team that hasnt gelled this season, and started off with alot of injuries. The squad is coming together now, players are back and for the first time this year fielded almost an unchanged side. I think you will see Lima hit the form we know he is capable of over the coming months.

| Is he on a 3year deal? I can see him heading back over to Aus before the end of his contract. He probably only came because of Maguire.

| Give him time. He's Wigan career has been very stop-start due to suspensions. Some players just take longer to bed in. I thought today he was much better. Give him time.
