I dont really want to pick out one player..But i thought Mossop was outstanding in attack and defence tonight..i was having some doubt about him last season. mostly that he needed more dog in his defence. Tonight he had that top game from him.

100% agreed. He was class tonight.

I think he's running with more aggression and purpose, plus the added weight he's put on looks to be helping.

Big thumbs up to Prescott as well this evening. In the past I've been critical of him, but so far this season he's been are best prop for mine.

Mossop is a bit of a punisher and hurts other teams physically, which is what we need.

Agreed on both Mossop and Prescott. I actually found myself wishing Preccie back on at one point when he'd been spelled. Can't remember ever having thought that. He's come on leaps and bounds so far this season.

I agree. Of him and O'Caroll I always preferred the latter but Prescott's form so far just shows what a player getting games under his belt does to improve his game.

I've always preferred O'Caroll too, but there's always been that nagging thought in my mind that he's simply too small to play prop. Much like Tucson is too small to play second row (on a consistent basis).

Prescott has really pushed on since the playoffs last year. As for Mossop, he's going to be a star in this sport.

I don't think anyone told him that, he might not be the first name on the team sheet but he never lets you down when called upon, lads like him make the difference between a 17 that can win some games and a squad that can win the league

Exactly - having players like that makes a huge difference. Thought Prescott and Mossop were very good last night - along with Coley, all three hurt the Hudds defense.

I've said the same thing about quite a few players but especially Mossop, Prescott and McIlorum and thats all they need are a couple of injury free seasons to kick on. They've all been held back at various stages via injury but touch wood they'll get a good run now and all 3 have the talent to play for England.

It's such a shame that Eamon O'Carroll only needs the same luck but isn't getting it.

Mossop was fantastic tonight, the lad was like a battering ram through the Huudersfield defence and a brick wall in the Wigan defence. Top stuff.

Prescott had a blinder too, he's done really well so far this season. Still needs to cut out the daft disciplinary mistakes, but last night was a sign that he's working on that. I can't remember him giving away a penalty to be honest.

I wouldn't have said any of our forwards were poor last night, but I'd certainly like to see a little bit more from Jeff Lima. Perhaps once the grounds harden up we will.

Outstanding from Lee Mossop last night. His work rate in defence is awesome - particularly at marker. He also makes some headway going forward too. Starting to justify that five-year deal and is only going to improve.

I thought Lima really stepped it up in his second spell. He was very quiet in his first effort but after the break is defence really stepped up and he got stuck into Eorl Crabtree(the size difference was crazy).

He has more work to do but it'll come and if it doesn't we know that Maguire will pick players on form and his place will be under threat.

Mossop was awesome, really playing his size in both attack and defence. The work the coaching staff have done with him is clearly starting to pay off.

Madge made a subtle comment during his interview about Prescott bleeding during games. Along the lines of he clearly needs to be careful with his head. Interesting there was no rant about protection!

Mossop played well and was hitting the line hard. I was hoping that Prescott would kick on from last year. He may look too thin but he is making good yards he made some good passes before the line and he looks to be the prop to take the first hit up from kick offs and put the team on the front foot

Prescott doesn't need a headguard anymore he needs a cricketers helmet.

He can't have much blood left.

He could play for 80 minutes each game, but he has to go off to get all the lost blood replaced.

He'll have to start running around with one of those little trollys with his bag of blood hung on it.

Prescott is like a boxer who is prone to cuts, the cheeck bones and eye brows will be cutting up all his career
