To be fair it wasn't Mason's choice not to come back on after the Sin Bin. I'm not his biggest fan but I thought he did pretty well tonight to be honest.

It was a good game and perhaps in the end Huddersfield deserved it. Their last try was a beauty. Well placed kick. We should have taken our chances, didn't, and perhaps deserved to have lost.

The whole League Leaders Shield thing makes no difference. We weren't going to get it tonight any road.

If we're going to have an 'off night' I'd rather it be tonight. Bounce back next week with a victory at Hull KR.

If you watch the game again, you will see Sam tomkins stand on a hudds players hand, it was about 5 mins after mason doing that to glass jaw.

Diddums. he stood on his foot to wind him up, and Fielden swallowed the bait. When he came back on he tackled Fielden and set him off again when he pushed his head down at the PTB. Hence the hard word that the ref had with both of them.

A good old bit of biff and a cracking RL match that went down to the last minute......what's not to like?

PS Have a look at the replay and you'll see that Fielden never managed to lay a finger on anyone

So some idiots on here think its fine that Mason stamped on him? An attempt to wind him up? No it was a cowardly act that should never happen in our game. No problems with the result, I thought we were very poor.

I think it was always going to be in hudds game plan to play it hard, rough and bend the rules a little after the last game when brown said mason will sort out anyone who picks on the little guys.

I think they had been building up for this game, if that was the game plan then it worked in a way.

When mason was brought back on in the 2nd half, he made hudds pick up there game a little and all the hudds players lifted.

Good game, just shows it's anyones this year.

Fielded was my MoM too. 12 points from his errors.

We deffinately fell for it, and that was all our own fault. Poor effort by many tonight. Its just some of those antics leave a sour taste, especially when you have idiots pretty much saying its fine to stamp on a player.

We did at their place too but luckily got away with it. Should have calmed ourselves down and taken the easy points each time they gave us a penalty. They'd have soon stopped and tried to play RL.

Feilden good ,but the Giants where better Mason did what he had to do and the Giants got the points get over it,mate they played with 11 men for 20 mins and you still cud not put them to bed,Feilden must be sick of the sight of the Masons
