Couple of observations. Stefan Marsh didn't get suspended for his apparent head butt last week.

And a new half back in Ryan Hilliard. Seems he is a England Lionhearts Under 18 international.

Anybody who went see how Feka played? You would think he would have a field day.

I think the disciplinary only meet once a fortnight for the academy / reserve leagues so he may be up this week.

IMO Feka didn't look interested and seemed to be tackled easily. The only person who looked less interested was Karl Pryce! They both got a lesson in enthusiasm from the young guns who played really well.

Yep. I can't see any way back for them at all.

In the games we have played without Feka its been difficult to see how he would fit in given the perfromances of not only the senior players but also the likes of Prescott and O'Carroll.

I would like to think that if his fitness improves and he can adapt to a different playing style then he may yet get an opportunity to work is way back into contention.

Don't rule him out just yet.

I wouldn't rule Feka out either. You have to recall Pat Richards was dropped by Brian Noble in July 2006 to the Under 21s. He played 4 games and only got back in because Brett Dallas got injured. Wonder what would have happened to Paaat had he remained in the Under 21s for the rest of 2006.

Prescott probably had his best game this season yesterday. He was running the ball in hard and although I don’t think he broke through any tackles he can certainly be happy with the shift he put in.

I know I haven’t been O’Carroll’s biggest fan on here and I actually thought he was quite poor yesterday. Again he runs the ball in with plenty of intent but struggles to break tackles imo. I’m sure at one point he was lifted in the air and slammed on his back as well yesterday? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen to Feka?

If Feka didn’t play well yesterday then although it’s not acceptable you can see were he’s coming from. A lad who has only made one fleeting appearance for the 1st team before and who is on loan at Blackpool is selected before him?

Did anyone else hear the rumour about Feka going on loan to Crusaders? Heard a couple of people behind me talking about it at Cas.

FWIW from a Cas point of veiw Thought the Tigers did well but when Wigan stepped up a gear they ran away with it.Palaa.....Feka was very quiet,Pryce looked as tho playing in the U20's was beneath him,Mcllorum showed some good touches but I thought that Marsh was Wigans best player
