Castlefords 1st penalty kick clearly went left of the sticks but was given.... completely dumbstruk!!!!

Also how can the ref send Chase to the bin and not reverse the decision?

One TJ gave it , one didn't, ref then makes the call. Couldn't see from where I was,

I must admit I though at one point the ref was going to completely ruin the game by blowing every 2 minutes, but in the end he seemed to do it sporadically rather than all the time.

The ref today was a disgrace!

He was poor, yeah - I think he's one of those refs easily influenced by home crowds, perhaps because of his lack of experience. We got the benefit in the Crusaders game (when we didn't need it), but got the reverse today.

I was just to the left of the sticks and it looked like a clear miss to me.

So you think the ref was favouring Cas?!

look at the penalty count in the league express tomorrow and see who won that one.

still don't know how he also missed the clear knock on in the build up to Cas's last try.

well IMO it was a miss to. ws gobsmacked when it was given. i agree the ref was poor today

In the lead up to the Wainwright try, the young ginger winger Thompson made the most blatent knock on I've ever seen...And I was 75 yards away. How the referee missed that is totally beyond me.

My mate and I were down at the front of the stand and practically under the post as he kicked it, and we were cheering the fact that it was a good 5 or 6 inches wide as it sailed over our heads, only for that old schoolmaster-type touch judge to give it. Baffling.

We all must have been stood in the same spot as I was just left of the posts with my whole family too! Jeez, no wonder it seemed crowded where we were stood!



...and for the record it was comfortably wide. Not sure what the touch judge had been drinking before the game if he thought that was in but I know I wouldn't let him park my car!

Yeh i saw that too, the pass was from Mcgoldrick i think? He was poor definately. The last time he reffed us was against Celtic at home last year and he had to be subbed off at half time. (i dont believe the story that he had hurt his leg for 1 minute) God knows how he didnt reverse the penalty for when Chase got binned aswell. Well done on the win btw. Any chance we could lend Amos Roberts instead of Ainscough too btw?

Not a goal in the memory of man, think the ref today was abit power crazy giving penaltys all over the place.
