I'll have to put this thread up now because I'm off out this morning and won't be back online till after the match.

Should the game go ahead (and it's looking good that it will - well I can see green stuff in the garden anyway) I'll be testing out doing Live Score Updates whilst at the game on Sunday which will appear via the websites twitter feed.

Now I'm only testing it out so if it fails then you can whinge and moan about it here.

Then on Sunday teatime when I get back I will have a full match report on the game as I begin my 9th season of reporting on Wigan Rugby League's fortunes. The reports will include the usual poor grammar but will be the open honest assessment you've come to expect.

I do hope not to be dishing out too much criticism this year though like....







They are easy reports when they play bad lol, much harder when they play well so I hope I've got my work cut out and it's a good season.

Me and my mate tried some live streaming but decided the camera was not good enough so live updates is all i can offer.

Good game with Wakey controlling most of it and Wigan stealing the game at the death following a shocking decison by the ref to bin Paul King.

Why is that funny, pretty accurate (not sure what happened with King) to anyone with a brain.

King took Riddell out after Riddell had kicked the ball. Penalty, certainly, sin bin was harsh.

Almost every try (from both sides) came on the back of penalties conceded.

I think he was binned for dissent I think.

Was only a friendly that didn't mean anything. I can get over it and I somehow think that Morrison won't be asked to kick many goals this season!!! Was great to see a game and the pitch was superb - no cutting up after all this bad weather - the grounds a dump but the pitch is superb - perhaps they will move it to our new groud (fingers crossed).

As a wigan fan who travelled up to wakefield today i must say i was impressed with Korkidas, hes absolutley massive, u would not mess with that guy!! also thought the young lad on the wing. Morton finished his tries well, Ridells try was best of the game i reckon, lost a few pounds looks sharp our kicking today won it, superb!! Phelps with two from the touch line. impressive.

I'll probably extend this to the academy games (if I go to them as well). It's really cheap and easy to do now I know that it works. I've about 100 email notifications saying that I've been added on Twitter or commented on, on facebook so there was clearly interest. Whether thats there when the season begins I'm not sure but we shall see.
