Central Park, still gets me choked up.
Does anyone know if that Newsagents/tobaconist is still in Wigan near train station?
I only go to Wigan on nights out so don't know if its still there.

If you mean the one across from Wallgate station the guy who used to have it was called Gary he used to work at Parkside colliery with me, don't know if its still open or whether Gary still has it, sorry for not being able to answer your question  |

What's quite stiking on a few of the changes is the huge quantity of "street furnature" such as lamp posts, signs and CCTV cameras the bottom of King Street looks like an iron forrest.

It was a Yates outlet or at least you could get Aussie White Wine but Mr Mistri had it for years as it was then Derby Wines. The Saddlers was Robinsons which was actually behind the wine shop in a separate premises.

Gary sold the newsagents and bought the fish and chip shop lower down from the station then sold that and moved to Spain, just outside of Benidorm about 5 years ago.
