This has happened for the last few years and worked really well reducing the number of people collecting at the ground.

If we failed to get to the final as per the challenge cup then no money would be taken.

Anyway at least Wigan managed to offload all there challenge cup final coaches and train to Warrington "fact"

As it is I am a Saints fan who welcomes the opportunity of avoiding a morning off work, a 50 mile return journey and a long queue (or being surrounded by neutrals) IF Saints win. If I recall correctly Leeds were the first Club to do this and surely it is an example that all Clubs should follow.

Out of interest how do we get tickets quickly if we win? I remember by Dad getting them outside the stadium straight after the final eliminator in '01 but will K.R be selling them if we win?

The world of cup final ticket distribution has moved on and left Wigan back in the historical dark ages. The prebooking of final tickets is standard procedure amongst a certain class of club in Super League, not just Saints.

Putting a poster on the wall showing how behind the times, and out of the loop, your ticket systems are will really motivate the players I'm sure. I can hear the cry in the dressing room now -"C'mon lads, lets play our hearts out so that we can have a ticketing system worthy of Wigan"

I think the item is more about saying they already think they are there, not about whether we should be doing the same thing.

If i remember correctly Noble, did the same thing with an article written by the Wigan Evening Post when he was in charge at Bradford, if memory serves the article spoke about how the Bulls pack was finished.

It seamed to work as they gave us a right mullering that day!
