I wouldn't go that far.

Not having a go at any individual but didn't think either side hit the heights tonight tbh. We didn't look like we wanted to be there for the first 15 minutes but then sprang into life.

Overall a good win in a poor game.

I must have tinted specs on, I agree it's Fielden's best game this year but I still thought he was pretty poor, broke 1 tackle all game then knocked on.

To a point but both sides made alot of errors(us especially in the first 30 mins and Wire after the break).

Both teams looked like they wanted to be elsewhere at times but overall we'll take alot from the game. The players have hopefully got last week out of their systems now and realise we stand a decent chance of doing well in the play offs.

Had the ball stolen. TBF if we are going to kick Stuart when he is poor. We must praise him when he plays well.

Thought he broke two tackles, but made decent metres with ball in hand every run. If he played like that every week we'd be in the top 4.

Only if we can finish 5th and IMO we are in prime position to do so.

Fair credit to the lad he's not only proved me and a lot of others wrong but he also seems to be getting better at all aspects of his game every week.

His defence, positioning, kick returns & support play have progressed at an alarming rate since the Maundy Thursday Saints game.

Contender for player of the season possibly?

Without doubt.

Our most improved player by a million miles although i get the feeling thats because he's got a regular position.

He's looking potentailly outstanding at fullback at the moment.

We made him look good for that try though, Rauhihi and Blythe are awful.

Totally agree with what you are saying. You missed how well he links up into play in our attack though, thought that deserves mentioning to.
