I dunno if its been discussed already on here (been away for a while) but I've heard a rumour that he's going to Huddersfield! I god hope not, hes been our best player this year, if not then the most consistant. What do you recon?

i.m.o hock can become a very good player. he has natural ability,power and agression(sometimes too much) his disipline and the occassional bad passing decisions needs tightening up too but if i was noble he would certainly not be in my mind to offload!

Hock is a game-winner or game-loser, depending on what he is thinking on the night.

I totally agree, there is much more to come from the guy, under the right type of coach!

Hock is physically the best British backrower around by miles IMO. He runs hard and is very aggressive. I'd have him at Leeds in a shot. However, he does seem to lose the ball too much and from what i gather gives away silly penalties. Real shame if those sorts of problems hold him back from being a real star.

Riddell cannot run that fast

Hock to Hudds was an option at the end of last season and talks were held, obviously the move never materialised and i think that is that.

The Huddersfield talks in the off season were not related to his on field performance, it was more off field issues that meant Wigan would consider allowing him to leave, it seems those issues got resolved and Hock turned down the chance to move.

That does make more sense. I would like to see Wigan work with players more to resolve issues. At times they are right to boot out the 'di$kheads' but think of the players we've lost due to an issue of some kind.

That was the Hock of a few seasons ago. So far this season he has cut out the silly stuff and been a much better player. He has been targetted on many occasions this season especially in the Leeds game, where it looked like he lost the ball of a number of occasions. But I think this was just clever play by the Leeds players
