Appalling, just appalling.

Now I know we have obviously played more games than anyone else, but that statistic is still unacceptable. By the same token, having played more games you'd have hoped we'd be higher up the table, at least in a play-off place.

With a record like that we don't deserve to be in the play-offs. I think our main problem lies with our pack. Too weak, too soft, too nice. Not enough forwards takes it to the opposition, gets in thier faces and just makes a general nuisance out of themselves to the opposition. We need someone such as Scott Logan in our pack.

Sign Noble up for another 3 years!! He is a great coach.

well there were plenty of 'fools' on here.
some claiming they'd always been behind him. wonder if they'll be saying they've always wanted him to go tomorrow.

I have always said its not worth saying he should go or stay, lets be realistic he is here, so support him while he is here, I was the same with Mathers, why slate our own players and coach.

constructive criticism is a good thing, but abuse doesn't help anyone.
if you've seen my posts regarding noble you'll have seen that i've said all along that he'll be here until the end of the season at least. lenaghan has said as much and there would be absolutely no point in spending extra money to pay him off before his contract is up.

Same with Millward?

I did not have the same views back then, I realised last season when people started to slate Noble at times, there is no point in it.

why?

I've wanted the fool out since Leeds at home last season.

But we are going to lose fans if we don't get rid of him. We've had enough possession in all the games we have lost (especially the last two) to have secured wins but we have no moves in the opposition's 20 m. The players are trying very hard individually but unlike other teams we have no dummy runners. The opposition know who is going to receive the ball and merely gang tackle him, sometimes forcing him to lose the ball. Against Warrington we must have done about 10 forward passes which the ref ignored. We play way too flat. It's 2 am now and it's really getting on my nerves.
I've a good mind to start watching Saints. I've watched Wigan for 50 years and I can take defeat but boring defeat is not on! If I was 16 and both Wigan and Saints wanted to sign me, I'd sign for Saints. Did I really say that? Yes. Goodnight.

Noble has been protected during his stay at Wigan due to the system by which we decide the league champs.

It appears a couple of decent results and (in)glorious failure at the final eliminator is deemed enough to satisfy people despite over two years of regular season crap.
