Went to the game and thought Thaler caned us, just wondering if anyone watching it at home knew the penalty count ?

Think it was something like 11-4 to Wire.
A couple of well dodgy decisions in the second half, but on the whole pretty much reflected our shocking discipline (again!).

Thaler could have really caned us. we were lying on something terrible all game. Thaler was lenient with us. our discipline wasn't the best, or was it desperation in trying to stop an on form warrington pack

That one of McIlorums I think on the 4th that gave them 40 metres almost got a dinner plate lobbed through the telly. Some absolutely pointless messing about in the tackle tonight.

Its not the penalty count that matters its the penalties that were given stupidly at crucial times, the ref made some shockers and we did not help ourselves. The typical one was Briers, someone touched him so he fell down, it was never a pen but they gave it anyway cause someone touched him. The amount of grapple tackles they put in was unbelievable, round the neck every time.

Had to laugh when they knocked on in attack, Sam collected it and immediately knocked on, Thaler gave the scrum to them and it took the linesman to tell him he was a complete wit !

Who was the Wire player that fell over at the play-the-ball and won a penalty towards the end? I only saw it on the big screen but it looked like a ridiculous decision.

It was Briers & it was a push that gave the penalty way

Fielden was given a right rollockin' by Lockers and a few others after he gave away a couple of penalties near our line which lead to a try.

At the end of the day, he wasn't rolling away and instead stayed leant on his knees on the tackled player with his arms up looking at the referee.

It's stupid things like this that gives away field position.

The only thing I can criticize Thaler about is being caught out by Briers play acting.

Lets not forget the blatant spear tackle we got away with.
