I agree with him about Gaz Hock. When Hock plays well it makes it so much easier for the halfs to play because he gives them that space to work in. Defenders can concentrate too much on him at times and that allows other players to run into holes that they leave whilst trying to cope with Hock.
If he is at his best tomorrow i'm confident we'll have enough to win but you just never know what your going to get from Hock.

We hear a lot about Hock not being the finished article.. But, what exactly does he have to do to prove to people that he is?
I think he is, but it's clear a few people 'in the know' don't.

If I read the article correctly he says even if Riddell gets back in the side Mike MCIllorum is useful to come off the bench, Tomkins is a fast player with improving defence, Smith laid on a couple of tries v Saints and TL takes on the line well.
OK fair enough but what chances of all five of them featuring in the 17? I'd be very surprised if they did.

I listened to his commentary on Five Live Sport X for the MM Saints game. He talks so much sense it embaresses the other commentators. He went some way trying to explain where in his opinion Saint had gone wrong over the last two weeks. Very interesting. |
