He's an underperforming referee at the moment but it shouldn't matter who the referee is. Although it makes you wonder whether the RFL do this sort of thing deliberately.

I haven't got a problem with Steve Ganson on current form yet we get a St.Helens referee Vs St.Helens and now such an underperforming referee in a cup match. Hmm
