My lad has decided that Bob the Builder is way too young for him now so we've replaced this wall transfers with posters. I went to the Hilton street shop yesterday but it was shut. To save me the hassle of popping down again, can anyone tell me if Wigan do posters of players or the team?

They used to, but the manufacturer pulled out after someone scrawled 'Pirtek' across one of the players shirts.

Can you not just knock one up with your design skills?

I was in last week and they head team posters for sale, not sure abuot player ones though.

Not to the size I'd need it. The quality of pictures on the internet isn't good enough.

I've looked on the internet and comparing it to Manchester United it's quite poor. I know United is a world wide brand but a couple of hundred posters of Feka, Richards, Tommy etc would be a great idea and the initial cost of print would only be around the 50p/£1 mark for low quantities. Posters sell for about £4 each so they'd only need to sell a quarter of them to break even.

Talking of posters can someone please tell the club that outside total fittness at marus bridge that there is a big advert for the saints game at easter and needs taking down.

Design one yourself and get it done for an ok price at copycats, if you dont have time to do something like that I could have a go sometime for you.

I also have some charactertures of some past players.

Also some A3 sized posters from around 2004 of some of the past players - Radlinski , Newton, Dallas etc.

Pemps, our son works in there and he says that they dont sell them. The only ones that they have are the ones with the fixture list on. If you have the facilty to do a large print then I have some photos that I have taken myself that I could email to you. PM me and let me know

Thanks for the offers of use of photographs etc. Single large format prints are expensive so my lad will have to make do with Simpsons and Man U posters for the time being.

i've got a king of the hill poster knocking about you can have, with the caption, "my friends might not be literate, but they're within walking distance!"
