Amen brother! I thought the players would have come over though to shake hands and say thanks, it bugs me when they walk over and stop 20yards away like there is some sort of force field, if I would have been playing I would have gone right over to the fans.

It would have even better if the 2 sections of Wiganers had been put together. I estimate that there was around 2K in the East and a similar number in the North lower tier, now if these 2 section had been both in the lower North it would have been awesome.....HKR and Wire fans were grouped together why not us??

I ain't blaming Wigan here, its the RFL that decided to give Wigan the reserved/unserved tickets in 2 different parts of the stadium. Was HKR/Wire's all reserved/unreserved then?

I bought mine from RLHQ. We were in the East stand, section 16 with all the Bradford fans. 95% were shouting for Wigan.

thats the best vid since wire , [greatest club , spotted the captain doing the bouncy. There is only 2 people i know who can sing anc+ loyal all the way through so it could have been brian telford or the newton le willows warrior

Pretty wild atmosphere under there after the game. You had to admire the single steward trying to get everybody out.

Anybody else notice Ganson and Bentham outside? It was after it had started to empty under the stand and people were on the steps or just at the bottom with the giant Goose Green flag over the railings. Ganson and Bentham came round the corner (suited up - with their kitbags), took one look at the scene and quickly ducked back into the stadium. Wonder what would have happened? He actually had a decent game for all the fuss we made beforehand.

It is ace, its up their with the best after match parties.

I didnt see them but I stayed around and spoke to Fielden, Gleeson, Pat and Billy Boston after the game, all the wigan fans had only just gone, imagine what they would of done had they all still been there to see the players come round the corner, it would of been mental.

I hope this is a turning point for our support and the atmosphere keeps up like that for the rest of the year. It will be great if we can go on a winning run and start fighting our way up the table. And a nice Cup run too!

Hopefully we will see simliar celebrations after we win the cup at Wembley

The atmosphere has been lacking since the 2006 season especially at home, imagine if every game was like that for atmosphere, the thing is it often relies on the result, I am sure if the result and the effort was like that every week from the players, it would be bouncing in the stands. Bouncy anyone?

Definitely, the atmosphere has only been as flat as the perfomances. Some games I just can't get up for singing. When the lads are slogging their guts out - and winning

- the place will be rocking.

The singing and dancing under the stand at the end was great. There were some Leeds speccies near us who joined in as well. I think they were just enjoying the atmosphere which I haven't seen for a long time.

There was an old biddy sat near me (she must have been in her 80's) and she went mental during the game. She was dancing around with clenched fists saying 'get in there'. Brill!

The conga down the steps in the north stand was also brill. People I have never seen before were giving me hugs on the way down.

I spoke to Martin Gleeson after the game behind the north stand and asked him if he enjoyed the game. He looked chuffed and said that he had never beaten Saints before.

What would you expect he has played for saints so he is hardly gonna beat himself and well, playing for wire your not gonna get many wins against saints. I spoke to him as well, you must of been stood next to me

The support was awesome on Saturday and again proved that the old days of people slagging Wigan fans off for being quiet and walking early have gone.

Can you imagine the atmosphere if we get to Wembley this year?



We have to win this Saturday at Wakefield..............defeat would hurt so much.
