With the raft of backrowers we have and in particular the grafters in Bailey and Hansen it's time we start trialing one of them moving up to the front row for maybe 1 spell each in the game. If George is fit then he plays and Bailey is on the bench to move to SR and push Hock to Prop. If not then Coley is on the bench with Bailey at Centre.

Smith despite his poor defence has to be at least on the bench imo because I have no doubt he can offer us something in attack should we need him (would have been a VERY useful sub against Hudds I think)

No Coley (Too Many penalties)
Hock is playing like a Prop at times so use him & Bailey making Hard Yards and Tomkins/Hock (When the other 2 x props are on) as running 2nd rowers!
This games has been lost too many times in the last 3/4 years in the 1st 25 mins!
Got to keep it tight and Kick well for the 1st 20 and drag them into a Game!

Kicking games got to be good!
Kick early & Kick deep, kick it dead if we have to!
Make Them come from their own 20 EVERY SET!

This is where Piggy/Tommy & O'Loughlin (And Richards if were not out of our own 40) are going to have to be really Good this week!

Make sure we don't kick under pressure, get our forwards going forward with a Plan so that we kick from the right place at the right time How we want to Kick.

Make them Work and Pressurise their kickers on tackle 4 & 5!
Have a designated Chaser, someone who sets themselves after tackle 3 to look for kickers on 4&5!

Transitions have GOT TO BE GOOD! It's no good our wingers/FB making 15/20 mtrs on kick return and then we can't find a front rower until tackle 5 to take it in! Too late! Our props have to be there to take up No later than Tackle 3!

Stop using Feka on Tackle 5 to drive it in our own Half, it's pointless! Were only going to kick it next tackle 99/100! We got to use him tackles 2/3/4 to exploit the other team going backwards on the tackle after!
Start bringing him on when weve actually got the Ball instead of having 2 x sets near their line and then bringing him on when were defending 2 minutes later in our own Half!

Bringing Bailey on when Riddell goes off and Gleeson to SO, Leuluai to hooker. Just got the feeling he will do that.

That's what I meant by kicking early, stop looking at pushing passes down the middle with silly offloads!
Why Look for an offload to maybe gain an extra 5 mtrs to gain territory with Props that struggle to make yards anyway! Kick the damn thing early!
Get them to make the yards, don't rush the PTB and knock on/give penalties away for not playing it correctly!
If we want to look for a bit more expanse in our own half then use our 2nd row/centres by putting 2/3 passes (Cue The Noble Bashers saying we can't do that!) together and getting Hock/Tomkins/Carmont running at Gidley & Gilmour! Make them feel like OAP's!
But most importantly Play sensible!
Finding the right kicker at the right time and turning the 2 x Donkeys on the Wing around (IS it me or is Gardner getting more like Donkey from Shrek every day!) make them run it out from their own20!
The earlier we kick it from nearer our own line the further their forwards have to get back before they can come forward at us!

I think Fielden will get slapped around if he plays, better to leave him out again, see if he can pick up some form in the reserves. Plus I reckon Mossop would put everything into it if we were to give him a game. I'd drop Roberts too because he still looks very suspect in defense, Pryce has done too but he made some good defensive plays on Sunday and got better as the game went on so for me he edges it.
