hes coming back from back surgery, hes got a 3 reserve games under his belt but is in contention again for tonight. Hopefully hes going to play in our first team rather than go out on loan.

I'm really looking forward to watching Prescott play tonight. He's a big lad with good power and really looked the business until injurt struck at the start of last year.

Hopefully tonight will be the start of a great year for him.

He deserves his place tonight in the first team squad as he has been superb for the reserves.

If thats right Noble wants shafting. Tell me in which way is Coley is better than O'Carroll.

Coley had a beltin game last week, and its against his old club so he should be fired up with the reception he will get.

O'Carroll needs a rest we dont want to risk him burning out and Prescott deserves his chance.

Eamon looked ready for a rest last week imo. He has played all 5 games so far and done very very well but he's only young and not the biggest and he's coming off the back of a very physical encounter against Leeds.

Roberts has been dropped tonight whereas O'Carroll has been rested imo and theres no shame in that.

Coley played pretty well last week and should finally be fired up for a game tonight.

How did Prescott do?

I've been stumped as to why he's not been playing, after showing flashes since his debut (and a few mistakes), he was just starting to look like a consistently good big and strong prospect. Must have been the hair.

He did ok, nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong either.

I thought he went pretty well on his first outing in a while. He always makes good yards and defends pretty well.

Everytime i see him i'm convinced that long term he'll be a good player for us if he can overcome his injury problems.

Good solid performance by Prescott.

Even Coley was not bad tonight.

He's played well in the last 3 games now to be fair.

I would agree with you on both of them.

He made some good yards tonight, was very willing to take the ball up and went into the collison going forward rather than sideways.

He still ran sideways just actually seemed to get forward whilst doing it

He ran wider tonight then i've ever seen him do at Wigan.

That was something he was always very good at whilst at Salford and always caused us problems when targeting our smaller wide players.

Hope he kciks on from that.
