Reserve Team Kick Off at 12noon against Bradford at Orrell on Saturday ahead of the 5:30pm 1st Team Match at the JJB.

Season Ticket Holders get free entry. Probably be up there myself to see how Mathers is getting on.

The Reserve league actually started the weekend just gone but Wigan had a Bye Week to start. The big shock being Leeds Reserves 40-48 defeat at home to Celtic Crusaders!

Had made plans with my uncle to go watching the reserves then go round orrell and pem for a few beers before the bradford game..cant now his son is now playing on saturday at 11am

The Celtic reserves played in the national division of the conferance so we're playing a decent standard before joining the reserve league.

I'll be there against Bradford, looking forward to it.

Really want to go to this but I'm trying to work out how big a bunch of flowers I would need to buy to leave home at 9:30 to go training until 11:30, straight to this and then Widnes for a match at 2:30 before heading straight to the JJB.

I think it is a shame we cant play the reserve games before our home games at the JJB, more people would be able to go to them I think.

That would give Uncle Dave kittens that idea

Don't be too fooled by that shock result. Celtic Crusaders had Paul Ballard, Ste Tyrer (who scored 8 tries and kicked four goals) Aled James and David Tangata-Toa in that side.

But in fairness they did have 13 welsh born players in that side so the result should be applauded but should come as no suprise given the amount of experience Celtic Crusaders played with.

Do i remember some being played on Robin Park that would be a better solution with games on the same day make it more accessible to everyone

We certainly played one there v Warrington. I think that was the first time I ever saw Kevin Penny play.

It would be great to play it before home games. Im sure that there would be more people coming earlier to watch them than people who would go to Orrell on a Saturday. Would be a good experiance for the players aswell.

not really inaccessable to orrell tho......theres a train once an hour from wallgate....take 8 mins and you can jump it on most occasions....so in effect how accessable do you want the game.....5 mins from leaving the vic or the swan and your there

Never said it was inaccessible said it would be more accessible if it was played as a 3pm kick off i am sure more would go to see it if it was at Robin Park it would mean no messing about with travel
