with joel and sam tomkins playing yesterday for the first team, i was trying to think of the last time that 2 brothers played in the same team at the same time. all i can think of is the iro's, but not sure if they were at the club at the same time or not.

there have been other brothers who have played for the first team, thomas and james coyle (although i don't think they ever played in the first team together).

so does anyone know the last time 2 (or more) brothers played in the wigan first team at the same time?

If they could do us a favour though and breed a couple of big lads to play prop and a couple of athletic 6ft + men to play in the centres we'd be very grateful

Cant see it happening from what ive herd about Logan he's a bit too young for first team in the near future, 2011 on the other hand.

The 2 Iro's were in the famous Wembley team that beat Stains 27-0.

Think the Iro's must have been the last brothers to play together. Last brothers to play for the club in the same season, before the Tomkins, where Steve and Warren Barrow in 1995-1996.

Steve made his debut on November 15th 1995 at Castleford but didn't play when Warren made his only Wigan appearance 4 days against Workington at Central Park. So them two never played first team together but would have done in the alliance side. Can't think of any others recently.

Isn't Logan still only 17ish? Still, a decent prospect at hooker all the same.
