I know Ganson is a figure of hate for a lot of people but I am never upset when he is ref for our games.

I actually admire him for having the balls to upset people with decisions rather than take the easy way out like a lot of them do.

agreed, you know where you stand with Ganson and he's more consistent than a number of refs.

please don't tell me we'll be using ganson as an excuse should we lose!
couldn't give a monkey's who the ref is, just want to see a wigan team play their hearts out and come away with the 2 points.

I don't have a problem with Ganson as ref. He's by far the best ref out there IMO. My perception is we also have a decent record with him as ref.

I always preferred Klein. He made mistakes (don't we all) but he never seemed biased as Ganson does.

Steve Ganson i am sure was more biased towards us last season personally so i chuffed with this appointment

oh come on, they way we are playing at the moment, the only entertaining part of the game will be ganson!!!

I thought Steve Ganson reffed us pretty well last season. In fact it was the first season I can remember where I actually felt he had lost his bias against us. If he carries that on this season I'll be more than happy to see his name up for our games.

We've lost the first two games and neither result was due to the referee.
We seem to do OK with Ganson.
Bet we win this one!
And that will have nothing to do with the referee!

Ganson is probably the most consistent ref in the sport IMO. Maybe he has something against us, maybe not... but last year he seemed to die it down a little... still gonna boo him when he warms up infront of the South Stand though...!

Ganson can Ref us at Leigh anytime, best ref by a mile.
