Did anybody else have radio humberside on in thier car on the way up if they did they would have heard hulls v exciting plans 4 a new trianing complex in the west side of hull they have put 2 million pound up and the NHS have put 1million pound in to have a brand new walk in centre n gym n training pitches which to me sounds like thier goin to have the best traing facilties in the league which will help them attract better players.
In offering its backing, the Board of NHS Hull has agreed to financial investment of £1 million in the project, which would serve as a ‘hub’ for NHS Hull to deliver a number of preventative public health programmes right in the heart of the community, including:
· healthy hearts screening
· weight management
· active lifestyles sessions
· stop smoking support
· exercise on prescription.
The facility would also serve as the new training ground for Hull FC, thereby bringing the club’s facilities back into the city, and allow both Hull FC and NHS Hull to link with local schools to raise awareness of, and career aspirations within, the health and sports fields.
