Maybe its just me, but did anyone else wake up this morning in an absolutely stinking and dejected mood because of that shower of faeces yesterday? Monday mornings are bad enough as it is and Ive thought of nowt else all day. Well and truely fuming with that performance. We've had the perfect opportunity (judging by our first 4 or 5 fixtures) to have a great start and sit nicely near the top of the ladder. Typical for us to start a season like we have done. We need to put it right at Hull. 2 straight losses so soon wouldnt help confidence one bit

The only entertainment I had yesterday was last night's episode of Lost.......and that's saying summat...!!!

Yep. And for some reason I just sat and watched the highlights.

Now I'm mad all over again.

Lost is ace man!

It's not as bad as when we were facing relegation. That was a bloody nightmare. At least this year all we're facing is out-and-out humiliation.

Watching Lost is akin to supporting Wigan over the last few years:

Has some cracking bits from time to time.
Leaves you confused week on week.
Sometimes makes you wished you hadn't bothered.
Might as well watch it until the bitter end.
Will be glad when it's all over.

A bit yeah but I always look forward to the next game (especially early in the season). Good p1ss up on Friday and good atmosphere in store. We tend to play well at Hull.

As for Lost - Worst show ever.

Lost just gets weirder and weirder. I'm getting sick of it now but have to watch it because I have been watching it for so long.

After yesterdays performance, thinking about it made my head feel like a mess and I simply wanted to crawl into a dark cave only to come out again on Friday

It ruined my day yesterday, I was sat up thinking about it til stupid o'clock.

It's the start of a new week though, we should be optimistic about going to Hull. Actually quite looking forward to it

I used to be. It was always better not even to speak to me on returning home from a game like that.

These days its not like that. Why? Well because I have got used to it and don't have very high expectations of the team.

Agree , i remember being unbelievably gutted when we lost 19-0 to the scousers. Couldnt believe we'd been nilled in a game - now id take that result on good friday

Well said but how low we gotta go until we rise again?? As far as I can see the only thing moving in the right direction at the club is the commercial side - which will "Quel Suprise" put a few extra bob in Pollards pocket.

After the game I was pretty dejected and annoyed. Monday morning I was expecting a bit of stick from a few Latics fans but in fairness none of them said anything.

Yeah, yesterday was horrible.

The stick I received in the office was non-stop all day. After a few months waiting for the season start it was a massive let down esepcially when we were built up so much, it's just dissapointing and extremely fustrating. It puts a negative outlook on the rest of the season too.

Oh well.

I can't say it bothers me anymore. I have just about given up any expectation of the current club/team doing anything of note. I suspect nothing will change until there is a considerable clearout of playing and coaching staff becuse neither inspires any confidence whatsoever.

If Wigan do achieve something this season (you never know we may get a really, really easy run in the CC) then I'll be pleasantly surprised. Otherwise I suspect we will sneak into the play-offs again like last season (especially if other teams fall away at the last like last season) and then paper over the cracks by getting to the semi-fianls or something.
