One of the problems i have with Eastmond and it's something that has been happening for too long, is that when he does take a big hit, he is looking for the trainer straight away.

It happened in three academy / reserve games I saw him in and in both the elimination semi v Wigan and the Grand final v Leeds.

He needs to show a bit of the Shaun Edwards "don't let them see you're hurt" mentality.

Clearly performance counts for nothing with Smith as the Myler selection proves. Sam playing well in training will count for nothing as Smith has a pre determined agenda to pick Myler.

and therefore it is Myler versus Eastmond for the scrum half position. IMO i'd still put Eastmond in ahead of Myler but that could be why he's in ahead of Tomkins at least.

Exactly. Despite all these excuses warrington fans are coming up with it's obvious myler is only in the squad because he signed for warrington. Put it this way if he signed for Wigan would he be anywhere the squad let alone the 17? It's embarrassing for the sport.

Not making excuses, i'd rather have tomkins in tbh. The logic i used was if you can play well with a poop team around you then you should be amazing with a good team around you.
For the france game im not too worried anyway but against the oz i'd rather have Sam he's a fiery little sod who won't be intimidated by crims
