Even if Gleeson was definitely going to be here I'd still try and keep Carmont. Long is still going at an older age and Carmont only started playing at 25 if he stays injury free then I suspect he could play for at least 2 more years. We need his experience and tbh he's one of the stand out players so far this year and I think we would be crazy to let him go and try two new young centres at the same time all year.

Centre for me.

It's Marsh and in which position he will end up playing in that intrigues me.

He's probably odds on for the 4 shirt next year when Carmont retires

More likely #3, he prefers the right side.

I agree that Carmont is a great centre and belies his years but I wouldn't compare him to Sean who has been long gone. Menzies would be a better comparison.

It already looks to be a priority for us. The guy has had a superb start and is really leading from the front.

Another 2 or 3 years would be nice but i'll settle for one to start with.

If I remember rightly it is in his favour, think it was something about not being sure if he could settle. Certainly looks like he is enjoying things so far so hopefully he will do at least another year.

I agree and disagree, I think he has filled Bryan Fletchers place. I really rated Fletcher and now Hoffman is doing that job.

Hoff is a better player than fletch was when he came. Theeyare at different stages in their careers
