A tough result to take this one. Shipping more than 40 points in any game is unnecessary, shipping over 60 is unacceptable. We have been poor all year and have 'patched over the cracks' so to speak, at times.

I'm not overly worried as we have a lot of quality sitting in the treatment room at the moment. However, I just want to congratulate Wakefield, what a hell of a performance from them. They seem to have a renewed sense of confidence under Chris Chester, I hope they kick on for a top 8 spot.

As for Wigan, we all felt dejected at the away result to Cas last year, and we went on to be Grand Finalists and missed out on the LLS by not but a few seconds. I think we have enough in the tank to win a trophy this year.

Massive respect to the vast amount of Wigan fans who stayed to the end that takes some doing when you are at that end of a score line I know only to well from the score lines we had last season

Getting to the GF and losing doesn't make up for days like this imo. Happened too many times under Wane's stewardship for me.

You have to judge Wane of performance not results. Performance throughout his time has been inconsistent at best, often very poor and rarely if ever do I feel we have achieved our potential.

Papering over the cracks is a good analogy. For me we have regressed to the pre Madge days under Noble with a jobs for the boys mentality and an arrogance over our development, recruitment and approach to the game.

Have any of you Madge fans actually watched the Rabbitohs this season? Despite having the likes of Sam Burgess and Greg Inglis on their roster, they have looked one-dimensional and clueless. Aussie Rabbitohs fans are saying the same.

Yep, Mcguire took us to the next level, top coach, Wane has taken us back to the Noble days, took him a few years but were there and maybe even regressing beyond that.

The perfomace was Ian Millward days and that is how bad and unorganised we were, we are awful to watch, a good coach could get a lot more out of any of our players including the ones that went on the field today.

Yeah, watched them all, not sure whats going on there, BUT, he came here won the SL, won the CC, then went back to Aus and won the NRL, all within around 5 years.

I have to admit, i actually forgot we where playing today and when i saw the score i laughed. Cant really say im bothered to be honest

On a serious note I have heard from fairly good sources what a preseason at Wigan involves under Wane and I didn't really believe it, however the longer he is here the more I start to believe it.

I genuinely wonder if we do any core skills work, some on here I'm sure will know. It seems to me our passing accuracy is one of the lowest quality in the league, this is before we talk about attacking plays runners off the ball etc.

I'm distraught, Wigan losing 62 -0 ,and I WASN'T there.

You want at your best today but wakey do deserve some credit we played at top of our game.we have 2 real young gems ourselves in johnstone and jowitt but today was team display.
I know its bad losing by such big score as we have had it many atime over last 12 months but you will bounce back i think cas will get it on friday.full credit to fans who stayed to the end cos its not easy

Great respect to the fans that came and then stayed.
It was great for Wakefield and obviously deserved the win, but it's tough watching your team get hammered, especially when your expectations are higher (we are used to it)

I know it was a bad result but I'm disappointed over so many of the reactions on here. I don't know the last time any of you suffered with a virus but they can really knock you for six. To then put your hand up to play rugby a few days later and get accused of not putting any effort in or not careing is unfair IMO. Be disappointed with the result but also be realistic about the situation the club is in.
