Latu, does kind of make sense. He is a big offloading forward with plenty of pedigree. His contract runs out at the end of this season and he is currently playing back up along with another forward, who the Bulldogs and indeed Australian Rugby League have very high hopes for.

They are also looking to free up cap space in order to bring in a back up half as I understand it.

Not saying it is going to happen, but it certainly on paper looks like it could happen, or he could be available.

The Latu deal was a mickey take on the other forum. Doesn't look like there's either smoke or fire on this one.

I know it's a take but I think hape would be quality signing if he is only 32. Our problem at centre is that we have no experience bar Darrell Goulding who's still what, 12 years of age? Hape could teach thornley gelling Hughes and even Goulding a thing or 2.

Hape was always a big man for a centre and with the history of cross code players not being the same when they come back he'd be a poor signing at 32 IMO. It would take him too long to get the required fitness back if he ever did and his senses must have dulled after standing freezing his nuts off in Union for 5 years.

I've heard that due to off field problems the Kevin Webster deal has fallen through but we're looking at bringing in Dev Alahan instead on a season long loan.

I think it's worth checking from time to time, but it is dominated by a small group of self-appointed gurus, which massively reduces the interest.

It's certainly true what you say about the rumours. Several have appeared on there, not just concerning new signings, which later seemed to have no basis in fact whatsoever.

8th Nov 12 - Esi Tonga signed.
27th Nov 12 - Adam Blair seen training at Wigan.
8th Feb 2013 - Eastmond to Wigan when Sam leaves.

Quite a few feeds on Twitter stating that Latu has signed on loan and awaiting Visa. This rumour is gathering some momentum although nothing id call concrete. Seems to mainly feeds from fans, whether they are in the know I havent a clue.
