Charnley will be one of the centres imo with another quality signing to replace Carmont with Joel going back to the pack.

Decent solid prop, gets the job done, does nothing special, tackles well.

I dont think Charnley will be centre at all, Madge seems keen on keeping him on the wing and hes doing a fantastic job there. I think Joel will be a great long term centre. Next year our priorties are a 7/Hooker depending on where Leuluai plays and a centre to replace Carmont.

He was only saying last week how well saints looked after him and he loved the club. He also said how grateful he was for saints giving him extra time off for family reasons.

I know a current saints first team player, he's said in a ideal world TP wants to go to the NRL for family reasons but if nit he'll be a saint next year.

I guess the reference to "treating him like a fool" could be related to Saints only offering a one year deal when he wanted two and then changing their mind and making it two when they were worried that he had two year offers elsewhere. Mcmanus might think that an accpetable negotiating tactic but perhaps Pelutua didn't take too kindly to it.

As for point two "current player praises current club" shock. I bet a quick google search finds the same stuff from Eastmond a couple of months back.

I guess its possible that Pelutua signed for Saints with the intent to round his career off with a couple of winner medals. Only having a couple of years left of his career he perhaps thinks a move away from Saints to Warrington will still give him an opportunity to acheive this.

He was asked to take a pay cut 4 times as saints claimed with the new signings they only had that figure to spare (which was only 20k short of what he asked for), the minute Warrington became interested and offered the money he wanted Saints miraculously found the other 20k for an offer which upset him. It isn't 100% but if I was a betting man I think TP will be a Wolf come next season

Why would you want the best winger in SL, who has great defence, runs like a forward, offloads and scores trys that no other winger in SL can.

It would cost Wigan a lot of money to sign him, he may leave Hull in the future if we don't kick on, hopefully if he does it will to the NRL.

I rate him but NO WAY is he the best winger in Super League.

Meant to say English, he has potential to be as good as the ones named, would need to prove himself in the NRL though.

Saying that the three above don't score trys like Tom does, their all round game is maybe better though

He is a decent Super League player but not NRL standard yet they have some freakish backs down under and he doesn't compare to any of them.
