It's all speculation that the lad wouldn't want to go anyway and to me he doesn't seem the sort of lad that would shirk any challenge 'eventually'.
As it is he's basically a kid still and if he needs the support of his family then that's his choice. He's not exactly playing in a non challenging environment anyway. |

That's your opinion about what people are thinking. I couldn't give a fook if he stays or goes in regard to my own team or Wigans strength.
With me living over here it's great seeing more guys come out. it's great for our national team. But most of all it's about lads taking the game to the next level in the best comp. The time has never been more right for our lads to go over and do it. |

Thnx Rogues. His height shouldn't be to much of an issue if his technique is right. You only have to look at the likes of Webb at Leeds and Slater who aren't the tallest, yet perform well under the high ball.

Certain players are worth forking out a transfer fee for. Tom Briscoe definitely qualifies as one. It's not often we produce top quality British backs. An outstanding talent who is completely wasted at Hull FC with Richard Agar as a coach. |
