Not from a Saints POV really. Saints now offer year long monthly direct debits on season tickets for as little as £18 per month. That's ideal for a student wanting to go to Saints home games. Some months a season ticket holder can watch a home game for as little as £6. I'm sure Saints (or any club) lose out financially on offering student tickets as they are an unpredictable demographic.

Oh FFS...as long as it counts as a +1 on your attendances there should be an arrangement made, regardless of where they may or may not spend their money in their own time.

Yeah I guess. I just think that you have more chance of attracting students if you offer a student price, whether it's direct debit or not, a cheaper price will attract more people. Of course how many of those students would be willing to pay full price determine whether it'd be worthwhile financially for the club. Personally I'd say more fans in the stadium should be a priority for saints right now, with playing at Widnes and moving to the new ground soon.

What's the situation regarding junior ticket vouchers? Can I order a ticket over the phone or do you have to get those ones in person?

I'm going to ring for ours in the morning but need to grab one for my nephew.

If you're buying adults at the same time then it won't be a problem to claim a voucher one at the same time. Only difference is that you will have to collect your tickets from the DW and hand in the appropriate voucher but at least your tickets will be guaranteed that way.

As someone who works for a sports club that offered student tickets, then withdrew them (wrongly, in my view), we quickly learnt that it made a lot more sense from a PR viewpoint to have student tickets than not, so we brought them back.

I hope enough Saints (and away) fans send enough mithering e-mails to encourage them to bring them back; we should be making our game as accessible as possible.
