Neither of last year's semi-final crowds would have fitted into the Halton Stadium, which has a 13,500 capacity.
Saints v Leeds attendance was over 19,000 (at Hudds)
Wakefield v Hull was over 14,000 (at Doncaster).

There is absolutely no justification for holding it there. Other than they are incapable of marketing a game or taking on the selling out a stadium challenge.

Being realistic i think the potential Saints v Hudds crowd would easily fit in the stobart stadium, playing Leeds is very different to playing Hudds for attracting a crowd, I predict about 12k ish.
Your game with wire though could easily get to 20k, I would go for Bolton if its availiable.

Everybody is going to have to get on this sharpish for tickets but then we said that last time we played there and it didn't sell out then.
I think when it's a smaller venue like that alot of the more casual fans just presume all the tickets will be snapped up in no time and don't bother ever trying to get them.
The people that really want them will get them i'd imagine. |

We didn't sell any where near 5500 for the Semi at Widnes in 2004 and we only attracted just over 6000 there for the playoff game v Bradford last year.
Thinking about it, I think it's a fine venue and it'll be nice to (hopefully) have a sell out.
