A major turning point to me was when you passed the ball to touch early in the tackle count up in the far right corner. I thought the wingers lack of response in saving the ball was a strong indication that the players weren't up for this match enough. It was a difficult ball to deal with, he might have failed to save the ball anyway, but instead of fighting to keep that ball in play he seemed to just go through the motions and watch it bounce out instead.

Ganson's ridiculous allowance of that forward pass was a major turning point in allowing you back in the game, but thankfully Wire held on for the deserved win.

i cant understand why you guys didnt play Lee Mossop he has been outstanding since he has come in to 1st team over recent weeks.

It wasn't so much the substitution of Coley and Prescott for Feka and Fielden but the timing.

The substitution was made when Wire had the ball. We all know that Feka is not the best defender and is used as an attacking impact player.

When those two came on the field Wigan had no ball for the next 10 minutes, so the substitution was a waste of time.

We took Coley and Prescott of and for 20 minutes lost our way. We made no yards, and Wire tore us apart up the middle. Game, set and match.
