| I love central park as much as anyone even still have a bit of grass from the pitch in my garden and my old seat in my wardrobe. But to say you wont go in Tesco is ridiculous in my opinion. So your unwilling to go into a place which bought central park from us when we needed money, we moved into one of the best stadiums in the country for rugby league which helps our turnover and training facilities. But yet your happy for our main sponsor to also be on advertising boards at saints and other grounds.
Not to mention that you probably have been in contact with some of the main sponsors of other teams.
I do admit that the Tesco doesnt seem to respect central park as it should, i would like some form of plaque, statue either in the store as you go in or something directly outside the door on clear display. Granted you have to go past the statue on the mini roundabout (disaster zone) but still more could be done.
On the whole though, people who say they wont go to Tesco confuse me.

The tesco is built on sacred land.
Its like when the yanks build houses and stuff on ancient indial burial ground!
If I won the euromillions I would buy the land back and build a new stadium called 'New Central Park' on the site. ![Very Happy icon_biggrin.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_biggrin.gif)

Exactly my thoughts as well.
The Kooga stuff is great, but once you move away from that there really is not a great deal of choice.

True. I asked on here last week about posters for my lads wall and it turns out they don't do them. I'd imagine this is something that's being addressed by the club but unfortunately it takes time. They're heading in the right direction though.

I don't want to bring the whole Central Park story up, but I believe it was Jack Robinson who sold the land to Tesco to spite Dave Whelan. It wasn't exactly Tescos fault, they made an offer and it was accepted.

| I love the Kooga range and it's been one of the best manufacturers we've had at Wigan IMO.
The only ciriticism I have on the merchendising side of things is the shop itself.

| I went into the shop on Saturday and ended up getting a replica home kit for my 11-month old lad.
I know a lot of people have had issues with the attitude of some of the staff in there, but the woman who served me went out of her way to make sure I got a larger size for the little 'un as the shirts are made quite small apparently.
Slightly OT but I picked up a couple of the free team posters while in there and couldn't believe they'd used a low res image for the team photo. Even the Mrs commented on the image quality once I got home. It seems that for every two things the Club gets right in this regard there is a cock up on the next (i.e. the 'Riddle' and 'O'Gloughlin' mini kits). ![Rolling Eyes icon_rolleyes.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif)

| Does recently appointed 'head of retail' Paul Stanworth still work for the club?
What does he do exactly?

A question that has been asked many times and seems to remain unanswered.
