Karl Pryce will always be labeled a lazy player, as that is just the way he is, you would however hope that after so long out, he would be raring to go and wanting to show what he can do.

However his apparent attitude, is a big problem for the team as a whole. If anyone not read Noble's comments on the website i suggest they do, as according to him we again had the wrong attitude again yesterday! I dispair!

hes absolutly rubbish the laziest player i have ever seen, hes not part of the team and to be honest he doesnt lok like he want to be part of the team, hes absolutly terrified the size of him he should be knocking everyone over but he doesnt he turns his back when he runs the ball in, people on this site would do anything to wear that shirt and he just doesnt want it

I didn't see his try saving tackles either but I didn't have the best of views.

He just seemed lazy to me and doesn't really used his size in attack. And he never seems to jump for bombs either which really annoys me, if he did he'd be about 5 foot clear of everyone else.

Was it my imagination as well or did he get a few boos from the Wigan fans as he went off at the end?

I thought he went well as the game went on, though some fans were just out to criticise him, even when he scored the game clinching try not many cheered for him.

I dont think we should play on Thursday cos them Stains will really embarrass him espescially in his slow defence game. They will single him out as a really weak point.

He should be ok this year and re-signed for next year.

Karl Pryce will come good I have seen enough signs to make me think he will be good in afew years, he was great in the reserves last week and tbh its his fitness most people have a problem with, if he can sort that out and maybe lose a stone or two he would be great. As someone else said he was bought as a part of a long term plan he is still young and will improve, we need to give him time.

It's funny that some of the people on here who want us to keep Goulding also want shut of Pryce in spite of the fact that Pryce has played only four first team games in his time at Wigan.

Give him at least until the end of the season before making judgement.

If we get him firing he'll be a real asset. He's not just one of the biggest centres, but one of the biggest players about. It's a well worn line, but 2 years out is a tremendous amount of time for anyone and his body just won't be used to it again yet. With our half-backs not exactly shining it's even harder, so lets give it a bit of time yet.

i understand hes a big player, he seems to run hard against the kids when hes playing for the reserves but when hes in the first team im sorry but he s himself

I can see what your saying but I was on the 40 metre line when they made the break for the first try. He turned to chase and looked painfully slow. Sam chased hard, dived to tap the ankles of the winger, and failed.
When he went down injured, it was like watching a footballer. It looked like he couldn't move or stand up and I thought he might need a stretcher if they could find one big enough.
I was really surprised when he carried on playing ( as footballers do).
But my main gripe is that Barrow played better football than us for a greater period of time.
