Ainscough for me has to play as we need our best strike players on the flanks where we stand a better chance of hurting them. I would like to see us run with a deep line and when we have to tough it out run all day at whoever there hooker is Drew or Obst as they will kill us if we let them.

well not keep running in a line on defence ,up and slide realy push from your inside .also attack in a deep line is old school .play flat with loads of push .full back sniffin round the play ball pushin up on every run half back as well .attack getin back rowers on both sides runnin into there defensive line so 6 and 7 can put passes behind them to make scoring chances .thats mine maybe wrong pal

Attack deeper is far from old school, its what most of the top teams to, It is still possible to play the flat ball game running from deep. Infact generally the only teams that play a flat line are the ones coached by ex-Bradford associated coahes.

Basically the rest is what we already do bt fail misserably to do it.

Regards the fullback "sniffin round the PTB" we sadly do not have a fullback with the positional sence to do this.

Sounds to me like you have just peddled out some generic tactics and not considered the raw material we have at our disposal or the strengths of the opposition where they hurt us earlier in the year. Maybe wrong though pall.

Our front row isn't the best but then i wouldn't say their pack is the greatest either it just works a great deal harder then ours and all of them are prepared to do the dirty work.

Outside of the hardwork we have to try and get early ball to Gleeson and Carmont as both should have the edge on their opposite numbers.

Play a quick game and defend our hearts out. The play kicking and goal kicking needs to be spot on too, if we make them run I'm confident they'll tire before we do. If it turns into an arm wrestle they may well turn us over.

Put high kicks up to Blaymire, he looked uncertain under thebomb when we played them.

Give it untill about May/June when you start to run out of steam

Get into their face early on, use quick play the ball & smash Drew as early on as possible.
Lets not disrespect the ball and get into an arm wrestle and lets complete our sets.

Maybe I am simplifying this, but surely we need to keep hold of the ball for the first 20 mins with a good kicking game and a great chase and try and hunt the mistake. Territory and possession in the first 20 mins is key to be able to give space to the backs for them to exploit later in the game.

I would like to see our defense rush up and meet the opposition, as we saw against saints, when we rush in a line we are more likely to cause a mistake. When the mistakes come and we have field position, lets look to keep them within their own twenty and cause some drop-outs.

Rush down their kickers Drew, Obst and brough to stop them dominating the kicking game.

I would like to see us play a bit deeper in attack as with the flat attack we seem to cough the ball up quite a lot and with Carmont and Gleeson in the centres we have to give them the early ball to let them create some magic..

I think all of the above needs a strong, enthused pack who are going to dominate their opponents.. ie Fielden and Co need to earn their corn!!!

Should be a good test for us, against a side that we have had mixed fortunes against in the recent past..
