Without going down the [i'yeh, but who'd want to go & watch them'[/i road, at the Huddersfield Giants all Primary school kids are entitled to a free season ticket, being the future of the game and the potential of being sucked in by football i think that this is an excellent scheme.
An even better idea would be for the RFL to sell an 'RL' Season ticket which would allow entrance to any match at any stadium, maybe for £60 or £80 for Primary kids.

Good idea re: the RFL idea. I suppose the only sticking point would be the objection from the clubs. Obviously, if Wigan are charging 137 quid for a 6 year old in the East, they would undoubtedly miss out.

But personally, I think that's a good idea.

Always got a ticket for the grandson in the south stand £26 he as turned 16 and goes to collage now and the price as gone up to £127 and he is still not working no money come in for him this also needs looking in to.

Yep agree on an intermediate price band. I've got 2 kids in that price bracket now, one who has just come off his under 5's tickets. They're keen to go to all the games now but I just can't justify almost £300 for the two of them so they'll be reduced to going a couple of times a year.

im with a lot of posters on this one.....its ludicrous that its 26 quid in the south, and top whack in the east.

having said that.....as a non season ticket holder who always goes in the east and takes my daughter, ive hit on an idea..which i have already implemented.

ive bought a south stand junior season ticket for her for 26 quid.
home games, i'll still take her in the east
away games will be FREE for her...saving me hell of a lot of money
AND................when cup tickets are limited to 2 per ST ...we can get 2 on hers..1 junior, 1 concession

now why didnt i think of that years ago
