I got down on the Friday and having a wander around and the like on Friday and the Saturday morning thought there were a lot of Saints shirts knocking about, plenty Bradford and Leeds too... saw a few, but not too many Wigan shirts till we got to Murrayfield. The game was incidental I think, I don't recall that much (mmm beer!) but the atmosphere was immense, there were Leeds fans dancing away in the middle etc, surreal... The stewards looked really bemused trying to clear the walkways... great stuff.

The walk back to the hotel, stopping off at a couple of beers on the way, was a gem too and I did have to try really hard to be magnanamous when a moaning Saints fall started chatting to us in the pub

I heard a peep off 2 saints fans after the game. Stopped off for a deep-fried Haggis (disgusting) and 2 scousers walked in and I just burst out laughing to which they turned round and said get back to us when you've won more trophies! Luckily I wasn't to drunk to point out that RL didn't start in 96 and that they're a small matter of 40 trophies behind us. Sick as Parrots.
