On a serious note Danny is obviously planning for next season and we will have an interview with him soon enough, hopefully along with some really positive news.

I appreciate that sometimes watching players move around can be frustrating, even worrying, but we are not sat on our hands I can promise you that.

I dont doubt it. I know in the past I have come across shall we say "Doom and Gloom" re our future, but at the moment I am quite upbeat and hopeful. Just wondered if anything was coming. Bit like waiting for Xmas!!!

Obviously the club has had quite a bit of success with developing young players. To what extent has this work been able to continue in current situation ?

I would have thought that the the majority of staff having been furloughed. Nothing much has happened with the players. Any of the players..

There is a likelihood that a whole year group will be lost - last years school year 11 - with the likelihood of little if any RL action this year and if there is, the risk of the union season overlap. No Origin games to tease out the best players for the Broncos pathway. This under 16 age group only have Open Age as a next step !

Where are we with the squad for next season, has anything been posted?

Still interested in where ottowa are gonna be based, might have been a pull for OAB as he is gonna be back home.

They do seem to be signing mostly Widnes Vikings or Widnes born players...Foz and Bott from us and possibly a quartet from current Widnes squad...

OAB was off contract ages ago - remember the list the RFL issued, LB didnt offer him a contract.

His only game, I felt for the lad. Took one hit and hobbled around for the rest of the game, bearing in mind he'd come back from a lengthy lay off with back issues.

Sad to see, he was standout at widnes when we played em, shame about his injury, maybe the standard of RL at SL and top end of championship was too much, a step down to NL1 might give him a chance to bulk up a bit and help with preventing re occurence.
Yeah looking at the recruitment looks like they will base themselves up that area.
Reckon the coach choice was driven a bit by canada location will sit well with the locals in runcorn and Hull (thats hull ottowa)

League Express reporting that we have 14 signed up for next season with 14 OOC (guessing that included Fozzard and OAB) Ward unable to do much currently until we know what is happening with next seasons funding.

Next season's funding - what is the question mark as surely the funding for Champ is sorted ? Or is the question will be by some miracle be put back in SL and get more money and therefore need better players ? Leigh, Featherstone, Widnes, Bradford are all going out and signing up players so there must be some understanding of funding.
