Just a month to go until the Summer Bash. I think our game looks to be the best of the weekend. All the other games seem a bit one sided.
I am pleased that we are on later in the day too, we are normally first up, which always seemed daft to me.
Hoping for a good weekend with a good result, a win over Featherstone is a must for our Middle 8 ambitions. Only eight games left of the regular season after that. So every point counts. Our points difference could do with improvement too

Agree with all of that Next two games to boost our points difference, beat Bradford then Featherstone..........

This years fancy dress them, I am told is Wild West, if you feel so inclined.

Apparently for the Saturday, The South Stand has sold out. That's Fev, Hull KR etc.
Still tickets available for The North Stand where we are. I am pleased that we are in with the Bradford fans again, at least they know how to enjoy themselves and create a good atmosphere.

Slight off topic, but has anybody who asked for the retro jersey's to be shipped to home address received them yet. I per-ordered them when the club announced them, but getting very close to the bash, and no Jersey yet.....

A post on the clubs Facebook page gives the impression they have only just arrived from the supplier. Hopefully despatched today.

Amanda told me they would arrive tomorrow and be posted out, seems like they arrived a day early. Unfortunately I am working away so unless I can work out a way to get it posted, guaranteed delivery, to blackpool I will not be wearing mine, which is a pity because I rather like the look!!!

Has to be close to the strongest team on paper that we have put out for a while. Hope they can put in a performance, weather is gonna be good, ground hopefully nice and hard and good open rugby conditions

Without doubt the timing of these players returning could not have been better. Fev only have one DR player available so will be weaker, whilst having our strongest team in ages will make for what I expect the best game of the day, if not the weekend.

With the Toulouse trip coming up in a few weeks we have given Blackpool a miss.....Really looking forward to watching us on Sky though.....Lets get into Fev from the start....A strong Broncos should be more than capable of coming home with the points......

A great weekend of Rugby. I am so pleased that we put one over on Featherstone. That was a great team performance.
Bathau took the plaudits, but how well did Alex Walker play. I hope James Cunninghams injury is not too bad. That was the only black spot on the weekend as far as I am concerned.

Pretty solid performance loane impressed me, as did Willy b. Thought Jarrod had a pretty decent game as well, Dixon ok but still can't catch a ball above his head. Impressed with walker

But again this points to inconsistency. How many times do we see players argue with a ref and nothing happens. It is time and time again and then we do it we are marched back. And before you start Mickeyb1234 no I am not saying we are singled out I am saying it is inconsistent refereeing. Same with the play the ball, how many actually play the ball and nothing happens and then suddenly someone will get pinged for it. How about high shots and forward passes, they happen all the time and then someone will get called out. Moving off the mark, some referees penalise most dont. It needs a good shake up so every team plays by the same rules of the game and get penalised when they dont. Referees also need to start trusting their own judgement that is what they are paid for but every situation goes to the video ref. even the clear cut cases.

What iI have been told is that the Man of the Match award at Summer Bash, was a stick of Blackpool rock. If it is true,it seems a bit cheap to me.

I think the rock is more a statement of Blackpool history than actual value. It was a big stick.
