Folks due to other fights I have at the moment we need someone to take on the job of moderator here, the forum needs someone who can broaden the usership and keep things (a certain Kiwi based thing mainly) in check.

Anyone interested just post below, any arguments and I'll warn you now I have no patience at all.

What is time commitment etc? I assume unpaid? What training/protocols are available?

Hi Brian, we'll try to help as much as we can. No training, although there's a mods' board where mods can discuss and seek opinions etc.

It's rarely tough, though you get your moments! On time, look in as often as you can comfortably.

It's certainly not short of people who think they can tell others what not to post.

Thats why despite being able to look in everyday I can't volounteer, I'd be too tempted to just boot peeps who annoy me, lmao!

OK, yes I 'prolly could resist just kicking out everyone I disagree with (it wouldn't be much of a forum if we did that) but I'm happy to allow a more senior/regular poster first dibs!

Wrong this is my 4th post, for the record I'm not a kiwi nor nostalgic for a female horse. Im not that bothered either way whether I'm a moderator. I just want someone who will stop the forum being hogged by two particular people who were 100% negative and abusive in many cases. If that means banning people or deleting threads I want a moderator who has the balls to do it

Any news on when there is a decision on this, I put my name forward, said I was happy to stand aside as someone else indicated they really wanted the job. Then silence, has a moderator been appointed?

As far as I was aware admin were sorting this out, I would be more than happy to hand the reigns over to you.
