It is a real shame that we could not hold onto Sean. I sometimes wonder about our club. It was obvious that he was not in the plans for next season, he scores five tries, plays a blinder and the club say they will have to reconsider his position. I bet it was too late.
Still. I wish him well in Australia.

I think the club left it too late to offer him a deal.

Up until them 5 tries he had not had the opportunity to earn a new contract.

That is the tragedy of the situation.

Or he just had not really been ready until then. Don't forget he got his first proper opporunity in the cup game at Leigh in March. He then played in the Dewsbury game after the debacle at home to Hunslet in the 8s.
