I bet it's announced as 1982 or something my shy of 2000 but actual attendance will be closer to 1300.

Unless I am being unfair to widnes fans who will probably make up half the crowd.

Teams should hate coming to London, not be able to play here with their fans nearly outnumbering us

We'll be doing the 3 hour round trip again and to all the home games until the end of the season although I've got to the stage where I don't even think we can beat Widnes. 1,999 will be the crowd.

Depends how many Widnes bring down. We will have 800 of our own fans there

Agreed. If Widnes fans are belt-tightening after the bank holiday it may only just sneak over the 1000 mark.

One stand half full of Home fans + 300 scousers behind the sticks

Bonus ball- Easy to get a beer-Maybe the bar will be half staffed which reduces the crowd somewhat significantly!

Its only a single ticket for the scousers as they will nick a car to get home

No matter how many staff the bar has, they all line up against the wall and do bugger all so crowd size plays no role in how long it takes to get served.

I can never predict what will happen with our club and it's attendances, but I am never sure about these who claim that attendances are falsified? yes when I spent some time training in media I saw that newspapers not sold and returned by newsagents was sold to chip shops and then the money was reinvested into newspaper sales to raise sales figures and then fees you could then charge for advertising, but with a sporting club would you not have to pay taxes and VAT on attendance figures? so why raise those costs with false figures, could it be season ticket sales & holders not attending are taken in the figure published?

I don't think figures have been wrong since Gus has been in charge.


However, there have been one or two times over the last few years where Ive thought they may have been wrong (upwards and downwards, in fact).

The club had three figures for attendance - target actual and announced. The announced figures were always higher than the actual - lower than the target. I don't know if this is still the practice - but looking at the crowd numbers, with the announced, and it certainly appears to be so.

Whatever way you measure them, our crowds are .

I reckon the announced crowd will be around 1,800 with the actual attendance around 1,300.

Fair chance Widnes will out number us. 600 London, 750 Widnes I reckon.

If 600 travel from Widnes & no offence to their supporters, it will be the first time so many have travelled to away matches except of course local derby games.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say 2850.

I reckon Widnes will bring a good number for their first visit in many a year, let's say 300 or more. There should be a fair number also of people whose main sport is finished such as football and kick n clappers. Maybe a few people from Gillingham and Orient. If the Medway Dragons mob showed that would be significant

There should also be a fair amount of fringe supporters who pop up as Widnes will be seen as beatable and there hasn't been a game at the Stoop in months so probably the main season ticket holders will be there. Even if it is just to bring a towel. If you were going to come once more this season this would be the game I think.

Depending on kick off times of the local amateur games, travel to the stoop will be difficult and the number from Kent will be few for the widnes game
