I was impressed by this guy yesterday, looks a real unit. He almost split Morley in half during the opening exchanges and didn't flinch in the second half when Westwood came out of the line at him with a big shoulder.

Any idea what happened to him midway through the second half? He drifted out to the left wing for a couple of tackles then seemingly just walked off the pitch, he was blowing hard but didn't look injured. Not sure the London coaching staff knew what was going on as it happened on the far side of the pitch to them.

Nice to see Gower back in League. Hope the rest of the season goes well for you guys.

He is probably suffering from the need to hibernate and cold weather, just like my tortoise. Wait until the sun shines, see how all our down under imports compete.

The hibernation seems to have extended itself to wrapping your arms around a blokes legs and getting him on the deck

Haven't seen Kaufusi but I remember that Sol Haumono was a changed man when the weather got warmer.

And boy....we've missed Sol! If Kaufusi can bring it like Sol used to....then we've got a top class unit there.

Really do hope he is half as good as Sol was, he has the look and against saints has the go forward and the grunt
Think he will struggle doing a full 80 mins every week though

Wasn't Mal that guy that made a big impression with some mighty hits and really played up to the crowd at GP, but then went down in a tackle and took what looked like a serious knee injury, hobbled off and was never seen again? Think he came to us mid-season with a dodgy injury record.

By chance, just pulled out the programme for home game against Wire 22nd Aug 2004 and had him marked as a sub, wearing no. 35. That was probably the game I remember him being injured in.

I know i,m now at the age where my mind is playing tricks..

.but did Karl Temata and Mal Kafusi join us at the end of the 2004 season ..and then Karl obviously joined us full time the folowing year....?

Mal joined in 2004 with Zeb Luisi. They both debuted against Warrington who we beat at home in around August. As far as I'm aware Karl did not play for us till 2005. Mal Kaufusi played mostly off the bench. At the time both were on trial.

Kaufusi looks short of fitness. He also looks as if he's really hating the cold weather. Sounds silly, but I suspect we won't see the best of him until it warms up a bit.

Yes. Didn't play very well last night for me however. I will keep saying it, our most critical issue at the moment is the front row. Bryant looks poor, no improvement on Danny Ward or Dave Williams. we wouldn't have got into the opposition half if it wasn't for Hulls poor discipline.

AK in the past hasnt played long spells in the NRL and is struggling with the 25 mins Powell is asking of him. He was walking after 10 against Saints. Last night he was leaning on in the tackle rather than working the player to the floor

Looks like an impact prop in a team that needs an 80 minute one.
