Where did this come from???

This has been coming for a good while now! Seems to fit with the new club philosophy spelled out by Rob Powell the other week - we are not interested in developing young Northern players for them to just f off back. On that basis we'll see most of our outsiders are 30+ over the next three years; helping to nurture the London talent we have coming through.
I liked Julien when he was here before - sad to see him leave and so I'm happy with the signing. And when you see the way Jamie O has developed into a Super League player this year in a losing team, (look how he took that try on Saturday) I think the shift in philosophy is good for the club.

Welcome back Ju-Ju. We have missed your Gallic flares.

I agree...was sad when Rinaldi left the first time. Thought he always gave 100% and provided some spark to the dummy half area. He may have slowed down over the last few years, but I think he'll bring experience back to our squad which will only help the youngsters coming through.

He offers versatility also, playing hooker and scrum half....although we should keep him mainly at hooker - I think Powell sees him as the replacement for Ellis anyway.

20 min spells with Chad- 2 good hookers, one who distributes, the other who asks questions of the markers(in French!)

If I remember correctly it was an administration error that let him go in the first place

I seem to remember that Ju Ju didn't want to go (and most of us didn't want him to go either) but Mac didn't rate him so off he went with the quota stuff being a bit of a smokescreen.

Mac brought in Ben Kaye to replace him and as we know, that didn't turn out to be one of Mac's most astute signings.

Anyhoo, all water under the bridge. Looking forward to having JuJu and Ju Ju's song back.

Rinaldi is a good player, remember him playing for us in 2009 and I was so hoping he would be signed for 2010 but unfortunatly not, will be a good player for you

I can take him or leave him! not sure his arrival is going to all of a sudden make us a top 8 club.

He'll be a decent enough squad player, and thats what we've needed in the last few years.

Did alright for us before, ok he is a little older but see no reason why he should not do a decent job again.....at least he wants to be in London. Welcome back JR.

I would take Rinaldi and Ellis.

Im pleased to have him back, always rated him.

Tend to agree though Randall has been an exceptional player for us most of the time he has been here

I guess MR is hypothesising and highlighting how disappointing the clubs choice from his list has been.

Ellis was offereda lucrative contract and decided to hang on hoping one of the big clubs would come in for him. They didn't but the club removed the contract offer as he had shown he didn't really want to be in london.
