WIGAN'S Australian full-back Amos Roberts, 30, is set to become the 11th loan player used by Harlequins this season when he teams up with Warriors pal Karl Pryce this weekend.

Amos was just starting to show his quality last year before he got a bad knee injury, wrapping his leg round a post when scoring a try. He has never been able to recapture that form, even in the reserves or 9's sides. He's a confidence player who relies on pace and a step. If he does get back to his best, we'll take him back like a shot, but if not, his career is probably over.

He doesn't appear to be in the 19 for Hull

Saw him the other week against our 20s, he looks decent still, maybe just needs first team games to come right, appears to be a good talker and organiser, takes time to talk to the younger lads through the game, maybe what we need.
