heard today quins have signed the following players to play reserve rugby next season: callum cross (loose forward) nathan carrington() adam jinto(winger) adam carrick(scrum half) pete johnson(second row) joe miller(second row) craig sedman(prop) andy cross(winger) josh wong(stand off) these players are all under 18 so wouldent be playing first team just yet injurs permitting but all look like cracking prospects. one to watch is andy cross, seen him score plenty of full legnthers and is a deffo future england international. being compared all ready by some to will sharpe

Why would we do that when we have pretty good youngsters ourselves

To be honest we have a few decent players coming through but not 17 (unsurprisingly, who does?) I think the real question is why would Hull release a future England international to us? Would we really pay the relevant housing costs for lads to play in the reserves/U18's? (Surely they ain't going to commute to Aldershot to play home games!) If this is serious I'd suggest they may be in the first team sooner rather than later. London RL is a strange old world at the moment, I don't dare quite write anything off as ridiculous................
