| According to the Sun,
HARLEQUINS winger Will Sharp says he is bored with playing out on the wing.
The Nigerian-born flier - out of contract at the end of the season - wants to move to centre or return to full-back.
Sharp, 24, has been approached by an agent about switching codes but fancies a Yorkshire-based Super League club if Quins don't offer him a change of position.

| I'm a bit concerned/worried by the gossip/rumours for next season. It seems to be one way, hardly anyone linked with joining but a number of players to be leaving or looking to leave: Orr, Louie, Williamson and now Will Sharp. The only player that we have been linked with is Scott Wheeldon.

| It does seem to be the way of the club, we have had our fingers burnt a couple of times with maning players who may be coming to us, seems that the club try to wait till contracts are settled and its a done deal before names get out
I really do hope they retain Will tho

| The kid simply needs to stay.
Sadly, he's very effective on the wing when he has the right centre and this tends to be his best asset.
FB, he's good but a bit lightweight to be the last man, centre fair enough, but seems to make silly offloads rather than when he's the last receiver and can simply dive for the line.
Could be great in Union, but OBVIOUSLY, I'd rather see him stay here.

| One game as a centre is all I've seen Sharp in that position. A 60 point loss to Cas seems to have kept him out of there. With Williamson moving on, surely the out of position Clubb could be moved back to his favourite position in the second row and Sharp moving back to his favourite position.

| All very worrying. Will the last player out switch the lights out?
I would be peed off if I was Willy, having to play like a second rower, rarely getting the ball in open space.
'Get your hands off our Willy!'

I'm not feeling 100%, nothing to do with alcohol though unfortunately.

If he's bored playing wing in RL, I certainly can't see him wanting to play wing in RU.
Gareth Thomas hinted that he made more carries in one game of RL than he did in an entire RU season.

| All adds fuel to my moan that McD swops the players around too much and doesn't let them get to their strength in their favoured position- don't know why he can't see this - let them settle and be consistent!!
Oh I forgot - it s that london team - have to be messing about all the time or we don't exist.

Deary me, Sharp is a winger, McDermott plays him on the Wing, yet somehow McDermott is criticized for doing this. Unreal. Let Sharp whine, he isn't good enough to play centre or full back.

| Hes a decentish winger. If hes not happy there then he's best off leaving. No great loss, he doesnt score enough tries anyway, and his acceleration isnt good enough to be a game breaker or a great attacking full back. How I miss McLinden.

| We saw with Penny what a difference an good pacey winger can do for a team. Not seen Sharpe play centre too often so I cant comment. FB, um I remember his "offload" when running from his own line straight into the on-rushing defence...
While i think its perhaps more important for us than any other team to keep players around in a bid to build up identity. If they can be replaced and are unhappy, move em on.
