Playoff bound!

It followed a really ragged twenty-five minutes after half-time. I was lamenting another scoreless second half when suddenly the after-burners came on. Randall's second try was a real beauty, never knew Williamson had that pace and handling.

I think we were down 16 - 24 with 16 minutes to go, what a finish, I thought only Saints were capable of four in the last few minutes, great performances all round, and for what appeared to be a small crowd, we generated a lot of noise

Bizarre game. First ever game of three halves (35 mins, 30 mins, 15 mins) that I've seen.

Have to agree a very bizarre game. Incredibly enjoyable though. I'd said to Mrs ER, with about 14 mins to go, it's down to which side wanted it most but I couldn't see where Quinns would get the two trys from. They then stepped it up and scored 4(?)!

So was I, but Sky Sports News have failed to show the second Cas try. As a friend said after the hooter: "I want to see that again just to make sure I haven't gone barking mad!" It looked scandalous.

Some superb tries by our lads though.

Agree to all of rgis, and the second try looked a total disgrace, if two linesmen and a referee cannot see then whats the point?

thought we played brilliantly in attack, reall pace and variation - but defensively made some poor mistakes - am i being unfair or does clubb seem to make mistakes at centre that he doesnt make elsewhere on the pitch?

Great fun though and on that performance we can give anyone a game!!!

I think with Clubb it is more a running style issue. He tends to be hunched forward either with or without the ball. I'd like to see him straighten up his shape, the guy is the size/shape of a young Mal Meniga with thighs like a horse - he should be able to go straight and hard but to often goes sideward.

That said he is finding his form again, maybe because his agent isn't talking him up all the time like the start of last year following the really good 2008 he had. The pressure is off and Clubb can enjoy his rugby again - and since Penny came it has really showed he is enjoying it.

Funny that try wasn't shown, probably because the guy editing the footage noticed the ball outside the playing area and edited the try out before waiting to see the three green twits from MARS award the try!

Phil Clarke is correct in his ascertion a few weeks back that Quins are hard done by in the Ref department when you see decisions like that one!

Just seen it on the SL website. It's beyond a bad decision. There are no words! Looks exactly like the first time I saw it even though the camera is on the other side. Clearly doesn't ground the ball, clearly in touch anyhow. Can't believe how the three of them cobbled that decision together.
