The game appears to be changing with the reliance on one brilliant No7 not seen as often. Burrows at Leeds doesnt pull the strings nor McGuire (6) more Sinfield at 13 or a combination of all 3.

On the flip side Saints success has been based around Long at 7 guiding the team.

Barratt controlled Wigan from 6 during his time, whilst Briers at 6 has ran the Wire-You could add both clubs have underperformed during there tenures.

Yes it would be great for us to have a classy 7 but its not always a necessary component. I think most coaches base the team around 9, 13, 6, 7, and 1. for us that is Chad, Purdo, Dorn, Orr and BJB possibly 5 of our best players-sadly 3 are missing currently with one playing out of position.
